The Riveting "ScareCrows on Parade" Returns to Clark Street!

Watch OUT! Heads UP! The SCARECROWS ARE BACK! And They're On PARADE!

 

On October 13, something so spooky, so mysterious, so eerie, and so frightening happens all up and down Clark Street and Diversey Avenue in Lincoln Park...Prepare yourselves, friends, because you must take heed! WATCH OUT! It's the FOURTH ANNUAL SCARECROWS ON PARADE!

 

It's all part of the popular, appropriate-for-all-ages, fun for all, ever FREE of charge, colorful, candy-filled, costume-loving CLARK STREET SPOOKTACULAR!

 

Over the next few weeks, dozens of local merchants will be toiling behind the scenes, dreaming up their own special ScareCrows and handmaking them to give them that special flair. Then they'll flaunt their creativity and begin this festive season by displaying the themed scarecrow in front of their business. After viewing all of the Scarecrows on Parade (come ON! Take a peek!), the public (that's YOU!) is invited to vote for their favorite at VisitClarkStreet. Voters will automatically be entered for a chance to win more than $800 in prizes!

 

Come on out! Get involved! ScareCrows will be displayed on Saturday, October 13, and will remain on display till Wednesday, October 31. Voting will begin on October 13 and end on October 27, with winning ScareCrows announced during the Spooktacular festivities on October 27. Come join us for this always free, always fun, family-friendly, shop-local-supporting, all-around-awesome event and lets celebrate the fall season in our own achingly lovely corner of Lincoln Park!
