Green City Market... Back INSIDE!!!
Nov 3 - May 4 8:30am - 1:00pm

Celebrate the Bounty of Green City Market!
After a luminously warm summer outside, it's time for the Green City Market to turn up its proverbial collar, toss its scarf over its proverbial shoulders, and move its wares indoors, back to the comfort of the soothingly climate-controlled Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum. But don't fret, throughout the winter, it manages to maintain a bounteous and fruitful harvest of local and regional fare.
Here's what you need to know to obtain that fabulously fresh fare -- because there ARE some important changes this fall:
HOURS: Hours are 8:30am-1:00pm (NOT 7am as in spring/summer)
PARKING: The Chicago Park District has now put a meter box in the formerly free lot across the street. The parking rate is $5 per hour for the market.
Vendors will be located outside, in the atrium (lobby), in the atrium courtyard, and upstairs in the South Gallery! Stop by the Information Table in the Atrium Lobby for a map and a cup of coffee before you start your shopping! Bring those recyclable bags if you have 'em and prepare to reap what our friendly farmers have sown!
THANKSGIVING WEEK SCHEDULE: Heads up, friends! There WILL be a market on Wednesday, November 21, so snap up all of your Thanksgiving fixings! Then on Saturday, November 24, there will NOT be a market, so enjoy time with friends and family instead!
