ConnectCLARK!

With all the exciting changes on Clark Street these days, our neighborhood is more vibrant and busy than ever. We all want to build on this  momentum and keep bringing more people into the neighborhood to shop, dine, snack, imbibe, laugh, stroll, admire, beautify, edify, and indulge.

We fully recognize that this starts with you, the business owners on Clark Street. People come here to see you, your staff, your products and services. And in order to make your business as successful as possible, access and connections to your neighboring businesses, resources, and other services are vital.

That's where we come in! ConnectCLARK is a free initiative, sponsored by the Lincoln Park Chamber of Commerce, to build a more cohesive community among the businesses in the Clark Street SSA #23. We will meet - informally, and with plenty of delish refreshments - at least once a quarter, to discuss thoughts, concerns, ideas, and simply mingle with our neighboring business owners and employees. We'll also have occasional workshops and guest speakers on topics that interest you and your colleagues. We'll have these events and meetings throughout the year to keep things rolling, hosted by varying businesses along Clark Street at different times of the day so scheduling will never be an issue. And we cannot wait to see you there!

The kick-off meeting happened November 17 at Basil Leaf Café (2465 N. Clark St.), and it was extraordinary. Your fellow merchants truly care about what's happening in the neighborhood, and they want you to, also!
