About the artist: John E. Bannon
With nearly twenty-five years of experience and countless collections, awards, and publications to his name, John E. Bannon is, needless to say, an accomplished multi-media visual artist. John, born in the nearby suburb of Arlington Heights, has been featured in over fifty exhibitions throughout his professional career. In addition to creating both private and public pieces with universal elements of visual perception from an aesthetically unique point of view, he’s also an adjunct assistant professor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
John received his BFA from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champagne and his MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. John currently resides in Chicago and runs his design studio out of Logan Square and his fabrication studio on the near north side. We're thrilled that Evlove has returned again this year to the program, this time on Diversey Parkway!
